Understanding how to navigate maps in Open Tee is essential for making the most out of your golfing experience. Our 3D mapping feature, when available, gives you a whole new perspective of the golf course.

Interacting with the Map

This video helps explain the different gestures you can use to interact with the map.

Move

Simply slide your finger across the screen to explore different areas of the map. You can move left, right, up, or down for a panoramic view of the course.

Rotate

Like you were moving a piece of paper on a table - use two fingers and move them in a clockwise/anti-clockwise fashion.

Zoom

To zoom in, pinch your fingers together on the screen; to zoom out, spread your fingers apart. Zooming allows you to focus on specific areas or take a broader look at the course layout.

Pitch

Tilt your device or use two fingers to swipe upward or downward for pitching. This gesture changes the angle of your view, which is especially handy in 3D mode to get a better sense of elevation and landscape.

πŸ’‘ Pro Tip: Explore the course in 3D where available for a more immersive experience. You'll be able to better plan your shots and see round corners or crests!
